Our Goals

The Air Force Academy Society of Washington, D.C. implements the Vision by:

-Providing education for business entry as well as professional and personal growth

-Providing mutual support and assistance in business endeavors

-Becoming an influential force on issues important to the membership

-Providing activities and social events to foster camaraderie and enjoyment

-Providing education for business entry as well as professional and personal growth

--Conduct at least one career transition seminar annually

--Conduct at least five educational programs annually

--Achieve participation of at least 25 percent of the membership at program meetings

--Support at least three special interest groups relating to business sectors



-Providing mutual support and assistance in business endeavors

--Support at least three special interest groups relating to business sectors

--Identify business interests/specialties of members in the directory



-Becoming an influential force on issues important to the membership

--Survey members to determine issues of interest annually

--Grow dues paying membership at least ten percent annually

--Conduct one joint activity with the AOG annually

--Form one satellite group in another city or region annually



-Providing activities and social events to foster camaraderie and enjoyment

--Conduct at least one social event annually

--Ensure each member meeting includes social time

--Survey members to determine interests annually

--Support one charitable activity annually
